Mr. Kyung Yoon Lee and Mr. Joon Kim of Kim & Chang participated as lecturers in a seminar on M&A promotion strategy for Korean and Italian manufacturers in the pharmaceutical and biological industries.

The seminar, which was jointly organized by the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (KPMA) and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), was held on February 9, 2015.

In this seminar, Mr. Lee and Mr. Kim gave presentations entitled ‘Risk Factors in M&A Process with Italian Pharmaceutical Companies’ and ‘Licensing Issues Occurring in M&A Process,’ respectively.

The seminar was aimed at finding pharmaceutical and biological manufacturers interested in M&A with Italian companies, as well as revitalizing the manufacturers for venturing into international markets.
