Kim & Chang represented the former CFO of PCA Life Insurance Korea, who received a disciplinary sanction from the Financial Supervisory Service (“FSS”) based on the breach of the Insurance Business Act due to improper actuarial calculation, filing a lawsuit for the revocation of such sanction against the FSS.

Our firm filed a lawsuit seeking the revocation of the sanction and won all the cases by analyzing and explaining the insurance regulations and relevant accounting methods.  Thus, the FSS’s sanction was successfully revoked.
