At the Asialaw Awards 2020, Kim & Chang took home a total of six awards, including “South Korea Firm of the Year” for the third consecutive time. 

We received recognition as the “Regulatory Firm of the Year” and “Technology and Telecommunications Firm of the Year”—both prizes that are only given to one law firm per practice area across the entire Asia-Pacific region.  We also won “Impact Deal/Case of the Year” in three cases/deals we had worked on.

• Impact Deal/Case of the Year – Yeongyang Wind Corporation and Youngduk Wind Power largest renewable energy acquisition 

Asialaw Awards 2020:  Following its awards ceremonies in 2017 and 2019, Euromoney-affiliate Asialaw hosted its third Asialaw Awards.  Evaluating the performance of law firms, lawyers and deals/cases in the Asia-Pacific region over the past 12-18 months, Asialaw surveyed law firms from 25 jurisdictions on three key aspects: innovation, complexity and impact.  This year’s awards results were announced virtually on August 25, 2020.
