For the ninth year in a row, Kim & Chang ranked first across the board in the “2018 Korea’s Best Law Firm” survey conducted by Hankyung Business, a major business periodical in Korea. 

To identify the “law firm with the most competitive edge,” this year’s survey gathered responses from not only legal practitioners from “Korea’s Top 200 Companies,” but also members of the Korea In-house Counsel Association. 

Leading the chart in 14 out of 17 surveyed categories, our firm received a total score of 2,107 points – ahead of the second place firm by 600 points – and ranked first overall.

Three of our attorneys were named as “best lawyers” in Korea, receiving multiple recommendations for their outstanding work in their respective practice areas.  Wan Joo was recognized in the labor category, while Do Hyung Lee stood out in the employment category; and Sang Woo Lee was highlighted in the tax category.
