Sup-Joon Byun, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated in the “2026 Global Trade Dispute Resolution Forum” jointly hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (“KCCI”) and LITIG Equity Partners on March 11, 2026.

The forum, designed for Korean companies engaged in overseas projects and investments, featured in-depth discussions on managing international trade dispute risks and the strategic application of Third-Party Funding (“TPF”). Sessions also highlighted case studies of TPF and risk management practices among global enterprises.

Mr. Byun shared his expertise as a panelist on minimizing enforcement risks in international disputes. In particular, Mr. Byun introduced proactive strategies to mitigate such risks, including pre-contractual asset due diligence and the development of jurisdiction-specific enforcement plans.
