Hyungkeun Lee, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated as a speaker in the “Navigating Global Regulatory Trends and Foreign Investment Risk Strategies” seminar, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (“MOTIE”) and arranged by KCAB International, the Korean Society of International Economic Law, and the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry on December 4, 2025.

Targeting Korean companies investing abroad, the seminar addressed emerging global investment challenges and highlighted the importance of early risk detection and end-to-end dispute lifecycle management.

In the second session, Mr. Lee examined practical considerations in cross-border investment disputes. Drawing on real cases of M&A and joint-venture agreement breaches, as well as investment treaty violations, he analyzed the key legal issues and outlined dispute-response strategies that companies investing overseas can adopt.
