Hyungkeun Lee, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, was awarded the Commendation from the Minister of Justice on January 13, 2025.
 
Mr. Lee received the Commendation for his contribution to the advancement and development of the Korean arbitration system and for his prompt and fair handling of Korean Commercial Arbitration Board cases as an arbitrator.

As a well-known international arbitration lawyer of his generation in Korea, Mr. Lee’s expertise in the field of international disputes, including investment treaty arbitrations, has earned him recognition as a “Leading Individual” by major legal media outlets, such as Chambers & Partners and the Lexology Index (formerly known as Who’s Who Legal).
