Byung-Woo Im, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice, participated in the 2024 Seoul Summit on Commercial Dispute Resolution in China, which was held in Seoul on November 14, 2024.

The seminar was co-hosted by the Beijing Arbitration Commission or Beijing International Arbitration Court (the “BAC/BIAC”) and KCAB INTERNATIONAL.

In Session Seven, titled “International Construction Projects under the Belt and Road Initiative: Risk Identification and Management Measures,” Mr. Im participated as a commentator and shared his extensive experience in international engineering projects. Mr. Im also addressed that disputes can arise from the implication and application of force majeure and limitation clauses.
