Dami Park, a member of Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice participated as a speaker in the “Understanding and Communicating in Spanish for Overseas Construction Projects” seminar hosted by the International Contractors Association of Korea (the “ICAK”) on August 14, 2024.

The seminar invited legal professionals and experts specialized in overseas construction as speakers to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic companies in overseas construction.

Ms. Park introduced characteristics and precautions of construction contract documents in Latin America. In particular, Ms. Park explained key points regarding contract management for projects in Latin America, including foreign anti-corruption laws, contracts related to Public-Private Partnerships (“PPP”), investor arbitration and local construction laws in Latin America.
