On October 28, 2021, Kim & Chang’s Intellectual Property Practice hosted a webinar on “Trade Secret Issues in Korea.”

Hisanori Aoki (Foreign Patent Attorney) facilitated the webinar as a moderator and Seung Sik Kim (Korean Patent Attorney) presented the latest trends surrounding trade secrets in Korea, trade secret dispute cases of Japanese companies, and strategies to prevent/respond to trade secret actions.  To maximize the audience’s understanding, Si Yul Lee (Korean Attorney), Seok Hee Lee (Korean Attorney), Jongmin Lee (Korean Attorney) and Changsok Song (Foreign Attorney) also took part during the Q&A sessions as panelists. 

The webinar, which was organized to provide information on Korean trade secret protection law to IP delegates from various companies doing business in Korea, was well received with positive responses and feedback as a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest information and to further enhance their understanding of the relevant law.
